The Montgomery Blair High School Parent Student Teacher Association (Blair HS PTSA) are in need of volunteers for its Nominating Committee and an AfterProm Committee Chair to start as soon as possible!
✅ NOMINATING COMMITTEE MEMBERS (Tenure: ASAP- May 2021): These are vital positions in that the Committee (three-person minimum) is responsible for helping the Blair HS PTSA recruit and nominate volunteers to fill its 2021-2022 elected positions (President, Three Vice Presidents, Treasurer, Secretary and Two MCCPTA Delegates) and manage the PTSA’s election process.

✅ AFTERPROM COMMITTEE CHAIR (Tenure: ASAP – June 2021): The Blair HS PTSA has always helped Blair High School Seniors celebrate their final year at Blair by holding an AfterProm!
Due to the pandemic, the AfterProm may look a little different this year (see 3/7/2021 MCPS message and the 3/17/2021 Bethesda Magazine news article), but we still want to do what we can to honor such a milestone for our Blair Seniors!
The Chair would be responsible for the following: 1) coordinate AfterProm activities (scheduled for June 2021, specific date TBD); 2) manage the AfterProm budget and expenditures; 3) work with AfterProm vendors; 4) recruit Blair HS volunteers to help with AfterProm duties; and 5) manage set-up and clean-up of AfterProm activities.
