MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — Three new coronavirus testing sites have been opened in Montgomery County, according to Gov. Larry Hogan, who announced Thursday that CVS Pharmacy drive-thru locations will offer testing starting this Friday [May 22, 2020].

The CVS sites will use self-swab tests for people who meet CDC COVID-19 testing criteria. COVID-19 is the disease caused by the coronavirus.

Patients must register in advance at CVS.com beginning Friday to schedule an appointment. All patients will be required to stay in their cars and will be directed to the pharmacy drive-thru window, where they will be provided with a test kit. A CVS Pharmacy team member will watch the self-swab process to ensure it is done properly.
