The Lumbee Native American Community in Baltimore: Past and Present (Baltimore County Public Library) – VIRTUAL

After World War II, Lumbee Indians moved from their tribal homeland in North Carolina to Baltimore. Learn about the early community established by the Lumbee, the current work to map out this historic settlement and discover resources about Lumbee history, heritage and community events. Presented by Ashley Minner, an enrolled member of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina. Registration closes one hour before the start of the program. A valid email address is needed at registration to send a Zoom link to the program 30 minutes before scheduled start.
