About the Presenter
Suzanne McGovern is a Senior Advisor to the Director of the Office of Investor Education and Advocacy at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). There, she is responsible for outreach and education to investors including students, seniors, women and new investors. She has been at the SEC for almost 16 years, most recently as an Assistant Director in the Office of Compliance Inspections and Examinations, Broker-Dealer /Exchange Examination Program. Prior to joining the SEC, Suzanne worked for multiple Wall Street Firms, primarily in supervisory and compliance roles, but her experience includes sales, trading, operations and recruiting. She has passed and held several securities licenses including the Series 3, 7, 8, 9, 63 and 65. Suzanne is a graduate of Denison University with a BA in Economics.
