Poetry Workshop With Poets Cherrie Woods and Alan King (Enoch Pratt Free Library) – VIRTUAL

May 22, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Though self-publishing and book promotion are becoming common, poetry remains a niche market. Even bookstores will typically just sell acknowledged classics, academic anthologies, and a few books by today’s most famous poets. How does a poet become successful and increase book sales since poetry has its own unique nuances and requirements for promotion. Cherrie Woods (book publicist/self-published poet) along with Alan King (traditionally published poet) will share strategies for promoting your poetry project.

Registration required. Click here to register through Eventbrite.
