MCPS Mental Health Fair (MCPS & Montgomery County School’s Psychologists’ Assn)

Learn about community and school resources that support students’ physical, social and psychological well-being.
Celeste Malone, associate professor and coordinator of the school psychology program at Howard University, will deliver the keynote address, “Breaking Barriers to Access Youth Mental Health Care.”
Breakout sessions include mindfulness and yoga; supporting children’s mental health; student stress management; adolescents and social media influences; self-care and coping; food and nutrition; vaping; and self-injurious behavior. Community resource tables will be available to provide additional information.
