Dinosaur-Roaring Contest (DC Public Library): IN-PERSON
August 5, 2021 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Join us in honoring the many exceptional dinothusiasts who contributed their time, effort, talent and vocal energy to our first annual Dinosaur-Roaring Contest at Southeast Library. After the awards ceremony, stick around to watch our winning entrants battle it out in a face-to-face roar-off, followed by an open-call roaring competition. All ages are welcome to participate or just soak in the fun. This event will take place at Marion Park (E St SE & 6th St SE, 401-479 E St SE, Washington, DC 20003).
Outdoor programming will be cancelled in the event of a Heat Emergency or thunderstorms.
Those still craving more dino-venture for the day can continue their journey and head over to the Library of Congress at 6:30pm for an outdoor screening of Jurassic Park. Film begins at sundown.
