As we kick off Pride season and celebrate Black Pride, join us for a conversation with Sheila Alexander-Reid, Director of the Mayor’s Office on LGBTQ Affairs and founder of Women in the Life. The Library’s Kerrie Cotten Williams and David Quick will ask Alexander-Reid about the history of Women in the Life, adding it to the People’s Archive and DigDC, and thoughts on DC’s LGBTQ community.
